Open Your Heart
‘Open Your Heart”, an initiative by a group of youth volunteers who see the need to raise the awareness of HIV/AIDS and its social implications. Through the creative use of a film and a photography exhibition, the campaign hopes to reach out to youth to open their hearts to empathise with people living with HIV/AIDS and realise that we are more susceptible to the disease than we think.
Win fantastic prizes, and better yet, make a real difference! Just by taking part in the Love +ve Photo Competition. Simply take a photo that you think best represents love and its connection to HIV/AIDS and submit it here. Closing date: 19 Mar 2008
* Judge’s Choice Award: S$3,000 cash
* Voter’s Choice Award: S$1,000 cash
* 20 finalists each receive a cool laptop messenger bag.
* Voters prize : 10 lucky voters get a S$50 Heeren voucher and laptop messenger bag
Entries shortlisted for the finals will be revealed and displayed at the Open Your Heart event. Winners will be announced on the last day of the event. Get a chance to see all the shortlisted entries and be there to see if you have won. Because if you are not there, your prize will be forfeited. So go all the way! Important dates:
28 March 2008, 5pm. 20 finalists will be revealed, SMS voting will start
30 March 2008, 2pm: SMS voting ends.
30 March 2008, 3pm: Announcement of winners and Prize Presentation.
